Plumbing emergencies

Water leaking or pouring? Shut off the main water valve, usually where the line enters the house or in the garage, then call us.
  • Burst or leaking pipes
  • Sewage or drain backups
  • Water heater leaks
  • Overflowing toilets
  • No water or no hot water

Plumbing services

One call for the whole house

Because we do both HVAC and plumbing, one visit can cover a water heater and a furnace in the same closet, or an AC condensate line that's backing up into a drain. It saves you from coordinating two companies.

Hard water

Las Vegas water is very hard. Scale shortens the life of water heaters, clogs faucet aerators and wears out toilet fill valves. Regular water heater flushing helps, and we can talk through options if scale is a constant problem in your home.

What to do in the first ten minutes

Burst pipe in a slab-on-grade Las Vegas home

Most valley homes sit on a concrete slab, so a burst line often shows up as warm spots on the floor, a hissing wall or water seeping at baseboards. Close the main valve, open a low faucet outside to drain pressure, and move rugs and boxes off wet flooring. Our leak and pipe repair page explains how we pin down a hidden break.

Sewage coming up through a tub or floor drain

When waste water rises in the lowest fixture, the blockage is downstream of every drain in the house. Stop running the washer, dishwasher and showers right away, since every gallon you add ends up on the floor. Keep kids and pets out of the area. See main sewer line cleaning for what clearing the line involves.

Garage water heater dripping onto the floor

A puddle under a tank can come from the relief valve, the drain valve or the tank itself. Turn the cold supply off at the top of the heater and set the gas control to off or flip the breaker. A drip from a fitting may be fixable; a wet tank bottom usually means water heater replacement.

No water at any faucet

Check whether neighbors have water too; a utility main break affects the whole street. If it is only your house, look at the valve at the meter box and the house shutoff to make sure neither was bumped closed by landscapers or a pool tech. If both are open, the problem is likely in your main line, and we can trace it.

Common questions

Are you available for plumbing emergencies at night?

Yes. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Do you do plumbing and HVAC on the same visit?

Yes. We handle both, so one visit can often cover more than one problem.

Where is my main water shutoff?

In most Las Vegas homes it's where the water line enters the house, often on an outside wall near the front or in the garage. There's also a valve at the meter box near the curb.
